Portfolio Objective and Strategy
AllianceBernstein International Value Portfolio seeks longterm growth of capital. The Portfolio invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of stocks of non-U.S. companies. The Portfolio's investment strategy emphasizes investment in companies that are determined by the Bernstein Value Equities research unit to be undervalued, using a fundamental value approach.
The Portfolio invests typically in stocks selected from more than 40 developed and emerging market
countries. Countries are usually weighted in proportion to the size of their stock markets, although the Portfolio may over or under weight a country depending on the relative attractiveness of investments in that country.
